Early Pre-War German NSKK Presentation Dagger Motor Boat Standartenführer from Korpsführer Hühnlein
This is a very scarce and unusual Adolf Hühnlein NSKK High Leader Promotion presentation dagger.

This was presented by Korpsführer Adolf Hühnlein, Commander of the Transportation Corps to the commander of the Motor Boat Unit of the NSKK. The dagger is not named. however it conveys "Good Luck to the Standartenführer" with an Adolf Hühnlein signature engraved on the blade. The motto on the obverse is the unusual Mehr Sein Als Scheinen (Be more than you appear to be) The reverse side of the blade has a deeply engraved "Good Luck to the Standartenführer" with an Adolf Hühnlein signature engraved on the blade, the inscription in German Sütterlin script. Korpsführer Hühnlein died in June, 1942.

The dagger has very deep ornate decoration and embellishments on the cross guard, pommel, scabbard, and blade. The scabbard is gold washed, as are the fittings (typical of waterborne units), as can be seen in the images shown. The blade was made by KARL BURGSMÜLLER of Berlin -- an very scarce and desirable maker.

There are some slight signs of use from routine wear, visible in this image of the rear.

German Himmler Presentation SS Honor Dagger
This is a very rare Heinrich Himmler Presentation SS Honor Dagger and Model 1933 Scabbard.

This dagger is CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN maker marked on the reverse side of the blade and has an inspector number "4" on the underside of the crossguard. The front side of the blade has the usual Meine Ehre Heißt Treue etched motto. The reverse side of the blade has the presentation etch reading In Herzlicher Kameradshaft H. Himmler. There are some nicks on both edges of the blade. It has not been sharpened or polished and has the original factory edge.

This is a view of the front of the grip and the rear. There is some significant wear and several chips out of the wood, as shown.  These are views of the dagger in the scabbard, front and rear. The original black leather hanger is present and in very good overall condition.

The dagger is in good to near very good condition throughout.  The blue-black anodized scabbard has some minor dings and freckling to the black anodized finish. This is another view of the maker mark as well as the last portion of the etch.

This is a very scarce and unusual NSKK dagger with Chained Scabbard.

This dagger is MAX WEYERBERG SOLINGEN maker marked on the reverse side of the blade. The other side of the blade has the usual Alles Für Deutschland etched motto.

This is a view of the front of the grip and the rear. The crossguard has a "P" stamped marking. These are views of the dagger out of the scabbard, front and rear.

The dagger is in near excellent condition throughout.  The blue-black anodized scabbard has one screw missing at the throat. The chain has an RZM logo and M5/8 maker mark as well as MUSTERSCHUTZ NSKK KORPSFÜHRUNS.

German Chained SS High Leader Dagger
This is a very scarce and unusual SS dagger with Chained Scabbard.

This dagger is RZM 807/37 maker marked on the reverse side of the blade. The other side of the blade has the usual Meine Ehre heißt Treue etched motto.

This is a view of the front of the grip and the rear. The crossguard has no markings.

The dagger is in near good condition throughout.  The black scabbard has signs of long carry and some moderate damage to the paint and tarnish to the fittings and chain. The chain has an SS maker mark on the back of one of the plates.

This is a good example of the SS dagger with black anodized scabbard.

This dagger is ROBERT KLAAS SOLINGEN storks maker marked on the reverse side of the blade. The other side of the blade has the usual Meine Ehre heißt Treue etched motto.

This is a view of the front of the grip and the rear. The lower crossguard has a horizontal "1" marking.

The dagger is in near very good condition throughout.  The black scabbard has signs of long carry and some moderate wear to the finish and tarnish to the fittings.

This is a good example of the SS dagger with black enamel scabbard and black leather hanger.

This dagger has the small CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN squirrel maker marked on the reverse side of the blade. The other side of the blade has the usual Meine Ehre heißt Treue etched motto.

This is a view of the front of the grip and the rear. The lower crossguard has a horizontal "8" mark and the side of the crossguard has a "III" marking. The black wood grip has a significant chip at the lower guard, and signs of heavy use from long carry.

The dagger is in near good condition throughout.  The black scabbard has signs of long carry and some moderate wear to the finish and tarnish to the fittings. The leather hanger strap shows heavy wear.

This is a very scarce and unusual High Leader Chained NPEA dagger with green paint scabbard.

This dagger has a very worn KARL BURGSMÜLLER, BERLIN-CHARLOTTENBURG 5. maker mark on the reverse side of the blade. The other side of the blade has the Mehr Sein als Scheinen etched motto.

Early Pre-War German IDed DLV Dagger
This is a very scarce Chained DLV Dagger with Engraved Initials and Service Inscription on the Pommel.

This is 1935 dated German DLV dagger, with a TIGER Solingen marker marked blade.

The dagger has a very nice near mint blade, with deep Tiger maker mark. The pommel has the inscription Zur Erinnerung An Meine Dienstzeit and the initials "BK" and date "1935" on the lower insert, visible in this close-up view of the back.

There are some slight signs of use from routine wear, visible in this image of the front. This is a close-up of the hilt.

It is complete with the DRGM marked chain hanger.  The portapee shown with the dagger is NOT included.

Early Pre-War German IDed DLV Dagger
This is a very scarce Chained DLV Dagger with Stamped Unit Identification on the hilt.

This is an unmarked blade German DLV dagger with 8.St.III.245 unit identification on the underside of hilt.  The dagger measures 19 inches overall in the chained scabbard.  The blade measures 12-1/8 inches.

The dagger has a very nice near mint F&A HELBIG engraved maker mark blade. The pommel has gilt upper and lower inserts, visible in this close-up view of the front and back of the grips.

There are some slight signs of use from routine wear. The details of the scabbard are shown here.  The unit identification on the throat (that matches the dagger), the top and bottom of the tip, and the top and bottom of the throat.

It is complete with the RZM M5/8 marked chain hanger.

German Land Customs Dagger
This is a very scarce and desirable Land Customs Service dagger in Aluminum Fittings.

The dagger has some signs of routine wear overall. There is some uniform wear on the leather grip, some tiny nicks and scratches on the aluminum hilt and aluminum pommel. The wire broke at some point in the past and was repaired, as shown in the view of the back of the grip. The blade is near mint, with some of the usual long marks from being in and out of the aluminum mounted scabbard. The scabbard is in good overall condition, with scratches on the fittings, three screws missing and some wear and tear to the leather.

German 1st Model DR Deutsche Reichsbahn Dagger with Scabbard and Portapee
This is a very scarce and desirable DR Railroad Railway FIRST Model Service dagger with Scabbard and Silver Bullion Portapee.

The dagger has VERY minor signs of wear, it is in almost mint condition. The blade is excellent, with only a few of the usual long marks from being in and out of the scabbard. There is near-excellent condition scabbard, with no dings or dents with this dagger.

German 1st Model DR Deutsche Reichsbahn Dagger
This is a very scarce and desirable DR Railroad Railway FIRST Model Service dagger.

The dagger has some minor to moderate signs of routine wear overall. There is some significant wear on the finish of the pommel and crossguard, some nicks and scratches on the hilt and pommel.  The handle has some damage apparent in the images. The blade is good to near very good, with some of the usual long marks from being in and out of the scabbard and general spotting overall. There is NO scabbard with this dagger.

This is a very scarce and desirable chained Postal Service dagger.

The dagger has some signs of light routine wear overall. There is some uniform wear on the wooden grip, some tiny nicks and scratches on the hilt and pommel. The blade is near mint, with some of the usual long marks from being in and out of the scabbard. The scabbard is in near excellent condition, with a few scratches on the fittings and light wear to the paint.

German Fire Chief Named 1933 Presentation Dagger
This is a German Fire Chief Senior Dagger with fancy double-sided etched blade, engraved dedication, and original scabbard.

The dagger has some moderate signs of use, most noticeable on the edges. There is some uniform wear on the leather grip, some tiny nicks and scratches on the hilt and pommel, and some darkness from tarnish and age. The blade has nicks, visible on the edges.  This is a view of the fire fighting specific stand of arms (hooks and ladders, helmets and horns, and other apparatus) on the front and back. The scabbard is in overall very good condition, with some darkness on the fittings from age and tarnish, and dings from routine carry on the lower brass cap, and some normal wear to the leather.

It reads Unsereren verehrten Brandmeister Herrn Thedor Mumperow anlasslich das 25 jahrigen Bestehens Freiw. Feuerwerk Isselhorst 4.2.33 (a dedication for 25 years of service to Fire Chief of the Isselhorst station)

This is a German 1st Model Luftwaffe Officer Chained DAMASCUS Blade Dagger, Scabbard, and Leather hanger.

The dagger shows minor signs of routine use overall. There is some slight wear on the leather grip, some nicks and scratches on the hilt and pommel. The gilt on the swastikas is near excellent. The blade is near excellent, with some very minor spotting and marks from being in and out of the scabbard. The scabbard is in generally very good condition, with minor scratches on the fittings from age, and signs of wear to the leather from routine carry.  There is a crack in the leather on the reverse side near the drag. There is the original leather hanger with ring.

This is a German 1st Model Luftwaffe Officer Chained Dagger and Scabbard.

The dagger shows moderate signs of routine use overall. There is some uniform wear on the leather grip, some nicks and scratches on the hilt and pommel. The gilt on the swastikas is worn. The blade is near excellent, with some very minor marks from being in and out of the scabbard. There is the original silver bullion portapee present, however it is in very used condition, with fraying and general wear and tear from field carry.

German Luftwaffe Aviator Officer Dagger
This is a German 1st Model Luftwaffe Officer Chained Dagger and Scabbard with Belt Hanger.

The dagger shows very minor signs of routine use overall. There is some slight uniform wear on the leather grip, with very few nicks or scratches on the hilt and pommel. The gilt on the swastikas is virtually mint, better than 99%. The blade is near excellent, with some very slight marks from being in and out of the scabbard. The scabbard is in generally very good to near excellent condition, with minor signs of wear to the leather from routine carry.  There is a rub in the leather on the top side near the drag. There is the original leather belt hanger present, in used condition, with minor signs of use from field carry.

This is a German NSFK Flieger Korps Aviator Officer Dagger and Scabbard.

The dagger shows very minor signs of routine use overall. There is some light uniform wear on the leather grip, some nicks and scratches on the hilt and pommel. The black enamel on copper swastikas is intact and complete. The blade is near excellent, with some very minor marks from being in and out of the scabbard. German FACTORY Ground Röhm SA Dagger
This is a German SA Dagger F. DICK maker marked with the Rohm engraving FACTORY ground name inscription.

The dagger has some minor signs of field use overall. The blade is very good to near excellent, with some of the usual marks from being in and out of the scabbard. This is a view of the grind.  Some rippling is slightly noticeable and traces of the inscription can be seen when tipping the blade to reflect the light. There is an "Wm" stamp on the crossguard. The usual SA motto is on the other side. The scabbard is in good condition with the exception of the majority of the original enamel paint worn off, with uniform darkness to the fittings and scratches from age and routine carry and use.

This is a German SA Dagger Carl Eickhorn maker marked with the Rohm engraving FACTORY ground name inscription.

There is an "Fr" stamp on the crossguard, shown here. The usual SA motto is on the other side. German Ground Röhm SA Dagger
This is a German SA Dagger Anton Wingen, Jr., Solingen maker marked with the Röhm name inscription field ground.

The dagger has some moderate signs of field use overall. The blade is near good, with some of the usual marks from being in and out of the scabbard and fairly uniform grind marks The dedication is partially visible under the grind. The scabbard is in good condition, with some uniform wear to the anodized brown finish very worn and scratched from age and routine carry and use. The ball end of the tip is partially crushed.

This is a German SA Dagger Carl Eickhorn maker marked with the Rohm engraving neatly ground off and showing signs of long service.

This is a German SA Dagger E. P. & S SOLINGEN maker marked with the Rohm engraving VERY lightly ground and showing signs of long service.

The dagger has signs of long field service overall. The blade is near good, with some of the usual marks from being in and out of the scabbard and a chip near the tip. The VERY lightly ground motto etch has the Ernst Röhm name still visible. The scabbard is in fair to good condition, with heavy wear to the paint from age and routine carry and use.

This is a German NSKK Dagger RZM M7/36 (E. F. Hörster) maker marked with the SA engraved motto blade.

The scabbard is in near very good condition, with minor wear and scratches on the black paint, evident in the images.

German  NSKK Dagger
This is a German NSKK Dagger Gebrüder Heller Schmalkalden maker marked with the SA engraved motto blade.

The dagger has moderate to heavy signs of use overall, it is generally good condition. The blade shows wear and the usual marks from being in and out of the scabbard. The black painted scabbard is in good to very good condition, with moderate wear and scratches on the painted and plated parts, evident in the images. The wood grip has a chip that was repaired.  The motto engraving is deep and well-defined.  The GEBRÜDER HELLER SCHMALKALDEN and Anchor maker mark is half worn off, shown in close-up here.

This is a German SA Dagger RZM M7/68 maker marked and 1941 date with the SA engraved motto blade.

The dagger has moderate signs of use overall. The blade is good, with some signs of pitting having been polished out and the usual marks from being in and out of the scabbard. The very dark brown painted scabbard is in near very good condition, with minor wear and scratches on the plated parts and a few dings in the ball drag, evident in the images.
