Congolese African Tribal Chieftain Short Sword
This is a Western Congo central Africa ceremonial five-finger wide short short with wooden scabbard.

The blade measures 13-1/2 inches long and 3-1/4 inches wide.  It measures 18 inches overall out of the scabbard and 18-1/2 inches overall in the scabbard.

Congolese Ngala or Azande African Tribal Chieftain Short Sword
This is a Western Congo central Africa ceremonial complex curved short sword attributed to the Ngala (possibly Azande) people.

The blade measures 16 inches long and 8 inches wide at the top curve, edge to point.  It measures 25-1/2 inches overall.

The handle is unusual, with a three lobe wooden pommel area and a wrought iron wrapped handle one quarter of the way up from the bottom.

This appears to date to the late 19th century.  The iron is very dark and shows years of age.

Turkish Yatagan With Wing Grip Sword
This is a Turkish Empire yatagan (also seen yataghan) sword in traditional wing style horn grips.

It is a simple inward curved short sword with carved decorations on the both sides of the blade and an inscription of a verse from the Koran on the left side of the blade.

The blade measures 21-1/4 inches long and 8-1/2 inches of grip and decorative embellishments.  The grip is 4 inches wide at the top edges of the thick wings.  There is a long narrow fuller running the length of the blade next to the spine to within 2 inches of the tip. It measures 27 inches long overall.

This appears to date to the 19th century.  The iron is very dark and shows years of age.

Sudanese Tooth Decorated Antler Grip Sword
This is a Sudan fancy sword in traditional paint and scabbard wraps with MANY teeth with prong horn antler horn grips.

It is a simple straight blade short sword with a hand forged hammered Damascus type layered iron and steel blade. This is an old sword, and there is significant rusting and darkness on the blade.

The wooden scabbard is very complex and well-made.  There are dozens of herbivore teeth on wrapped cord tassels suspended from the waxed braided cord wrappings and trim. The wood is decorated in three color red, black, and white paint.  There are tufts of (antelope?) fur and hide at the tips and sides.  There is a smaller attached scabbard for a smaller knife (that knife is no longer present). The scabbard for the sword measures 22-1/2 inches.  The smaller scabbard measures 9 inches long.

The blade measures 13-1/2 inches long and 5-1/4 inches of grip and decorative embellishments.  The grip is also decorated to match the scabbard with fur tuft, scrimshaw and waxed cording.

This appears to date to the 19th century.  The iron is very dark and shows years of age.

Sudan Wooden D-Guard Long Knife
This is an African long knife/short sword design usually seen in North Central Africa.  This one appears to be Sudanese.

It is a double curve blade with a very sharp needle point and sharp edge. The blade is hammer forged steel showing some traces of rust spotting, with the majority of the blade bright and not polished.

The blade measures 14-3/4 inches long and 5-7/8 inches of wooden grip with carved decorative embellishments that match the fitted wooden scabbard. There is an integral hanging loop and attached twisted cord.

This appears to date to the 19th century.  The iron is slightly dark and shows years of age.

Sudan Arm Knife
This is an African knife design usually seen in Central and North Africa.  This one appears to be Sudanese.

It is a recurved short knife with the outside (long single curve edge) of the blade sharpened.

The knife measures 8-1/2 inches long with 4-1/2 inches of that being the blade and 9-1/2 in the scabbard.  Approximately 1 inch of the handle showing above the fancy woven wood and split cane scabbard.

This appears to date to the 19th century.  The iron is very dark and the brass deeply tarnished and shows years of age.

Afghan/Pakistan Kyber Long Knife
This is a Kyber knife design commonly seen from Northern India to Persia.  This one appears to be Afghani.

It is a simple slightly curved long knife/short sword with carved decorations on the both sides of the blade.

The knife measures 15-1/2 inches long and 11-7/8 inches of grip and decorative embellishments.

This appears to date to the 19th century.  The iron is very dark and the brass deeply tarnished and shows years of age.

Iran/Persian mid-19th Century Spearhead
This is a very ornate and fancy fully etched design dating to the Qajar Revival of the 1850s.

It is a classic design with a flattened diamond cross-section blade, very sharp edges and one-piece construction.

The spearr measures 20-1/2 inches long and 11-7/8 inch blade. The haft portion is also fully etched with decorative embellishments.

The iron is very dark and shows years of age.

Temple Dog Ceremonial Sword
This is a Chinese Temple ceremonial sword with temple dog and bird's head brass hilt and pommel motif and embellishments.

The blade measures 27-1/4 inches tip to the center of the grip. The blade is 1-3/16 inches wide at the top of the guard. It is deeply stamped with the number 1019 in Arabic numbers. The hilt measures 6-1/4 inches from pommel cap to the bird beaks.  These are views of the grip from the right, back and front, showing the twisted pair wire and teak wood grip.

It measures 33 inches overall.

Long Wood Iron Tip Arrow with Large Feather Fletching
This is an unusually long and well-made arrow with an iron point and collet.

The arrow measures 39-1/2 inches tip to noch. The hand-forged iron tip is 4 inches long and approximately 3/4 inches wide. The feathers measures 11-1/2 inches long. We have several of these arrows, there may be minor cosmetic differences from the one shown.

Long Wood Tip Arrow with Bone Noch and No Fletching
This is a very well-made arrow with a wooden point and bone noch.

The arrow measures 26 inches tip to noch. The wood is very straight grained and shows no signs of warpage nor is it cut to straighten it.  It is approximately 5/16 inches wide. We have several of these arrows, there may be minor cosmetic differences from the one shown.

Snake Kris Ceremonial Sword
This is a South Pacific Moro ceremonial heavy weight kris with hammered gold wire snake motif and embellishments.

The blade measures 27 inches tip to the center of the grip. It is 6-1/2 inches wide at the top of the guard.  The blade is 2-1/2 inches wide.  The gold wire inlay runs 11 inches long and varies in width from 1/2 to 4 inches. It measures 33-1/2 inches overall.

Opi Malaysia Sword/Long Knife
This is a South Pacific Micronesian opi with well-fitted all wooden scabbard.

This short sword is sharp only on one side (the long straight edge). The blade is a folded Damascus style metal.

The blade measures 19 inches tip to the center of the grip. It is 23-1/2 inches long overall.  The blade is 7/8 inch wide at the grip.   It measures 24 inches long overall in the scabbard.

Sumatra Fancy Silver Clad Boot Knife
This is a South Pacific Micronesian (Sumatra) Watered Iron knife with silver clad ebony scabbard and hilt.

The single-edge blade measures 7 inches tip to the collar of the grip. It is 3/4 inches wide at the top of the guard.  There is a long stylized dragon on the left side of the blade and some markings (unreadable) on the right side of the blade.

Sumatra Fancy Silver Embellished Sickle Knife
This is a South Pacific Micronesian (Cerebes, Sumatra) Watered Iron knife Korambi sickle with silver clad ebony scabbard and knuckle duster ring hilt.

The double-edge blade measures 3-1/4 inches tip to the spine at the grip. It is 3/4 inches wide at the top of the guard.  This is a view of the other side of the blade and scabbard.

The condition is near excellent, with the exception of a small crack in the ring that does not go all the way through.

Dragon Spear Point
This is a South Pacific Micronesian ceremonial heavy watered iron ("Damascus") pattern weld raised dragon motif and embellishments.

This is a very unusual spear point.  It has a Java design (perhaps Moro), definitely South Pacific origin.  The blade is difficult to date, but is most certainly early 19th or possibly 18th century.

The blade has nearly identical design, featuring a winged dragon with a shaft rising from its head supporting a large crown with cross and standard with tassel (possibly Dutch influence in the design of the crown).

The blade measures 8-1/2 inches tip from the stop to the tip. It is 1-1/8 inches wide at the thickest part of the leaf shaped blade.  The shaft is 5-1/2 inches long and has a noticeable drill twist at the end to screw the shaft into a socket of the spear to retain it.  It measures 14 inches overall.

Moroland Phippines Exotic Weapons Identification Wall Plaque
This is an early World War II South Pacific Micronesian ceremonial and combat weapons theater made miniature blade display plaque.  It was a bring-back from the Philippines in 1941 by a soldier returning before the Japanese invasion and the fall of Bataan.

This is an unusually large size display.  The smaller ones (about half this size) are a little more common.  The shield shaped display board measures nearly 18 by 24 inches.

The weapons are made of steel cut from beer cans and fitted with bamboo shafts on the longer pieces (spears and arrows) and teak wood handles on the blade weapons.  All blades are secured by hand formed beercan collars.

Finnish Lappland Sammi Puukko Utility Knife
This is a traditional Finland knife, made by the Sammi people of Lappland.

This is an older design than currently seen in that there is not a blade guard fashioned on the handle, there is only a simple brass ferrule.

The blade measures 5-3/4 inches tip to the grip. It has writting and engraved scrollwork on one side.  The other side of the blade shows some moderate pitting from age. The entire knife is 10 inches long overall.

There is a traditional scabbard that is original to the knife.

This is an unusual knife, made with a blade attached to a cast silver hilt hunting scenes asymmetrical  handle.

The sword measures 23 inches tip to the pommel nut. The handle is 5  inches long. The blade measures 17-5/8 inches long. There is a single wide 11 inch fuller on each side There are no maker marks. It is dark from age.

This is a very unusual Civil War Confederate fighting knife made from a old 1840s era sword blade with an unusual brass double knuckle bow with langets.

The condition is very used, with vestiges of old etching on portions of the blade.

Iron Indian Wars Beaded Fighting Knife
This is a Native American Indian Wars era ceremonial knife made from forged iron with a fancy LARGE glass bead decorated wooden scabbard

The blade measures 6-3/4 inches tip to the grip. The wooden grip and scabbard (right -- left -- front) is completely covered with brightly colored  beads.  The beads are silk thread sewn.

It measures 15-1/2 inches overall.

There is some minor damage to the beadwork in several places that requires attention.  The blade is dark from age.

Ivory Handle Knife
This is a very unusual knife, exceptionally large, with a genuine ivory grip.

It is styled after an older WWII era Randall design.  This one has a jMt maker mark on the blade.  It has a rolled false edge that is medium sharp. It has not been ground to razor sharpness.

The blade measures 13 inches tip to the grip. The ivory grip is 4 inches long. It measures 18-1/2 inches overall. It has brass pommel and crossguard.  There is a brass insert in the grip for personalization. It has not been engraved.

MOP Handle Lady's Corset Stiletto
This is a very unusual knife, exceptionally nice, with a genuine Mother Of Pearl grip.

It is styled after an older Victorian era corset busk stiletto design.  This one has a "M" maker mark on the blade.  It has a very sharp point and edges that are medium sharp. It has not been ground to razor sharpness.

The blade measures 8 inches tip to the grip. The MOP and STERLING silver content marked grip is 3-3/4 inches long. It measures 8 inches overall. It has a highly polished steel crossguard.

Silver Fitted Japanese Style Tanto Knife
This is an unusual knife, exceptionally nice, with silver mounts and fittings.

It is styled after the Japanese tanto.  It has a very sharp point and edges that are medium sharp. It has not been ground to razor sharpness.

The blade measures 5-1/4 inches tip to the grip. The wood pinned grip is 4-1/2 inches long. It measures 10-1/2 inches overall. It has a highly polished steel crossguard.

Custom Made Damascus Pattern Weld Skinning Knife
This is an unusual knife, exceptionally nice, with nicely rendered decorative filework and comfortable forefinger groove slab horn grip handle drilled for a wrist thong.

This is a thoughtfully designed Damascus pattern weld knife with a long ricasso to protect the finger without the necessity of a guard and deep file scallops for the thumb along the back of the knife.  It has a very sharp point and front edge that is quite sharp. The false edge is present but has not been ground to razor sharpness. There are no maker marks.

The blade measures 4-1/2 inches tip to the grip. The pinned horn grips are 3-7/8 inches long. It measures 8-1/4 inches overall. It has a highly polished steel crossguard. There is a nice fitted heavily embossed pattern leather scabbard with this knife.

Silver Fitted Japanese Style Tanto Knife
This is an heavy left-hand dagger with stainless steel mounts and wire wrap grip.

The crossguard is styled similar to a Gil Hibbon knife.  It is not maker marked.

The blade measures 9-1/2 inches tip to the grip. The crossguard is 5 inches long. It measures 15-1/2 inches overall. It has a highly polished steel crossguard, pommel and blade.

MG08 machine Gun NON-FIRING Miniature Scale Model
This is a very unusual 1/3 scale Maschinengewehr 08 NON-FIRING Miniature Heavy Machine Gun.

The Maschinengewehr 08, or MG08, was the German Army's standard machine gun in World War I and is an almost direct copy of Hiram S. Maxim's original 1884 Maxim Gun.  This is a solid steel model, with incredible detail.  It is very realistic-looking (except for the size) and virtually indistinguishable from the full-size model except under the closest examination.  Many images of different parts of the model are shown to give a sense of the craftsmanship and detail of this superlative scale model.

The gun measures 18-3/4 inches muzzle of the non-functional suppressor to the grips. The mount and shields are included and equally detailed.

Thompson M1 Submachine Gun NON-FIRING Miniature Scale Model
This is a very unusual 1/2 scale transitional M1928 to M1 NON-FIRING Miniature Submachine Gun.

It has some unusual features including a vertical fore end, a tapered barrel without fins or Cutts compensator, a "fixed" style firing pin, and similar details seen in the WWII M1 design. Several images of different parts of the model are shown to give a sense of the craftsmanship and detail of this superlative scale model.

The gun measures 16-3/4 inches muzzle of the non-functional barrel to the butt of the walnut stock. The detachable stick magazine is 3-3/8 inches long and is solid (no internal parts).

This is a very unusual 1/2 scale STEN MKII (occasionally seen as Mark III or MKIII) NON-FIRING Miniature Submachine Gun.

It is styled after the famed British suppressed (silenced) SOE commando submachine gun of WWII.  This is a solid steel model, with incredible detail.  It is very realistic-looking (except for the size) and virtually indistinguishable from the full-size model except under the closest examination.  Many images of different parts of the model are shown to give a sense of the craftsmanship and detail of this superlative scale model.

This is a very unusual 1/2 scale Stevens "FAVORITE" Model Falling Block Single Shot Take Down NON-FIRING Miniature Rifle.

It is styled after the famed Stevens Models 17-29 "FAVORITE" Rifle.  This is a solid steel and polished wood model, with incredible detail.  It is very realistic-looking (except for the size) and virtually indistinguishable from the full-size model except under the closest examination. Every part works, with the exception of the scope sight, which does not have glass optics installed.  Several images of different parts of the model are shown to give a sense of the craftsmanship and detail of this superlative scale model.

The rifle measures 20 inches muzzle to butt plate.
