Large Handle Sterile F-S Design Dagger Fighting Knife

These are views of the front and rear of the grip. This knife was made for someone with a very large hand.  The grip measures a full 5 inches (as compared to the usual 4-1/2 inches of an issue F-S). The blade has signs of grinding and stock removal from when it was made (possibly from a cut down bayonet or sword) along the total length, however it remains serviceable throughout.

The condition is good to very good overall.

The knife measures 14 inches overall.

There is a theater made leather scabbard with this knife.

Water Buffalo Handle Dagger Fighting Knife

These are views of the front and rear of the grip. The tip has a slight waver from being used in combat, and there is significant pitting to the steel, however it remains serviceable throughout.

Cast on Ring Grip Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife

There is no maker marks.

This same design and style is described and pictured on page 102 as figure 521 of Frederick Stephen's Fighting Knives, except the example in Steven's book has the seam ground (or filed) down. This is as it was originally manufactured.

The condition is very good with some moderate wear and the usual signs of combat use. There is some moderate freckling on the blackened subdued steel blade.

This knife is shorter than the usual F-S, measuring 10-1/2 inches overall with a 6 inch blade.

There is NO scabbard with this knife.

French Nail F-S Type Dagger Fighting Knife

The blade has an unusual shallow hollow ground diamond cross-section.  There are some light scratches along the length of the blade from routine sharpening.  The original factory grind marks are visible on the blade. It has a subdued blue/black finish of which 80-90% remains.

The USMC Marine Corps Raider Commemorative Knife

It has a polished cast-on checkered panels style grip.  There is a deeply etched U.S.M.C. banner scroll on the front of the bright polished blade.  There is no pommel nut and the crossguard is integral to the grip. The grip has a small enameled rendition of the USMC Raider patch.  The back is also deeply etched with the H. G. Long & Co. Sheffield England maker mark.  The knife is 12 inches overall.
