It has an "Raymond de Meester" (1905-1995) artist mark on the face. It is very dark from age.

This is a one-piece cast medal featuring the Wilhelmina cipher and imperial crown on the face and stand of arms and artillery on the back.  The reverse side has the words Voor Trouwe Dienst.

It measures 100mm (4 inches) long overall.

This is a one-piece medal featuring the rampant lion and L.S.K. (Landstorm Korps) Veluwzoom 1936 on the face and raised letters ARNHEM 25 K.M. on the back.

The cross measures 30mm (1-1/4 inches) in diameter.

This is a one-piece cast medal featuring Batavia with banner and sword standing victorious over the defeated German people. Here is a view of the front.  The reverse side (shown at the left) has the Christian cross and Dutch helmet, the flags of the US, UK, USSR, and Royal Netherlands on a pedestal crushing a dragon with a swastika.  The date of liberation is at the bottom.

It has an "MK" maker (artist) mark on the face. It is very dark from age.

This is an exceptionally rare heavy padded and quilted silk floss with gold and silver bullion wire three-dimensional Greater Coat of Arms of Sweden with standards and MULTIPLE Royal Orders surrounding the shield.

This is a close-up of the Coat of Arms showing detail, to include the Royal Order of the Seraphim and five lesser Royal orders below the shield.  The Royal Order of the North Star and several others are identifiable by design, with neck chains and ribbons used prior to the 20th century evident in the pattern.

This was removed from the house banner of one of the members of the Swedish Royal Family and retained when it was retired and replaced by the 1908 approved design which only allowed the Royal Order of the Seraphim to surround the shield.

It measures 26 inches wide and 22 inches high at the ensigns. The central coat of arms measures 14-1/2 inches wide and 14 inches high.  It is between 1/2 and 3/4 inches thick.

The condition is generally good, with some fading and minor damage to the silk, most notably on the ensigns.

The arms of the cross are in royal blue with a white center showing the Finnish and Nazi flags. The arms of the Mannerheim swastika have the battle honors of the 1941-42 campaigns PETSAMO-SALLA- KIESTINKI- UHTUA during Operation Reindeer and Operation Silver Fox.

This is an interesting device in the Yugoslavia colors of blue, white and red ribbon with silver mounts.  It measures 3 inches long by 1-1/2 inches wide.  The enamel flag was added after the establishment of Yugoslavia.

It is identified to Friedr. Robert Erwin von Hans and dated 20.8.29

The condition is used, with some signs of long wear and deep tarnish. It is in overall good condition, with fraying of the ribbon, as shown.

This order was established in 1815, abolished in 1931 and reestablished in 1938. It was awarded for outstanding military or civil service of exceptional merit. This is the Commander Cross level order (just above the Knight's Cross).

The condition is used, with some signs of routine wear. It is in overall near very good condition.  The only flaw is some slight enamel damage to the upper arm of the cross on the face. There are no maker marks present.

This order was established in 1814, awarded for Bravery and loyal conduct during military service to Officers of the Spanish Armed Forces, including Officers of the Spanish Foreign Legion and Civil Guard to reward constancy and irreproachable conduct in military service and for long loyal service with Spanish forces

The condition is used, with some signs of routine wear. It is in overall very good to near excellent condition,  The ribbon and pin are present.

This order was established in 1864, awarded for distinguished military service to Officers of the Spanish Armed Forces and selected foreign service officers. When awarded for actions in war, the arms of the cross are enameled red, as shown. This medal is generally seen in wear on German members of the Condor Legion.

The condition is used, with some signs of routine wear. It is in overall very good to near excellent condition,  The ribbon and pin are present.

This order was established on 28 March 1868 and bestowed for military bravery.

The condition is used, with some signs of routine wear. It is in overall very good to near excellent condition,  The ribbon is present (difficult to find one with the original ribbon attached). The suspension loop is present.

It measures 25mm wide and 180mm long overall (1 by 3-1/4 inches).

This order was established in October 1968 and bestowed for military gallantry in combat.  It was supposed to be roughly equivalent to the US Combat Infantry Badge.  Only 69 of these were awarded to a (then classified) advanced combat unit.

The condition is mint. The attachment nuts are present.

Here is a close-up view of the signature. It is accompanied by an original numbered Certificate of Authenticity hand signed in 1983 by Colonel Millett.

It measures 32mm wide and 29mm high overall (1-1/4 by 1-1/8 inches).

This order was established in October 1968 and bestowed to qualified commandos.  It was supposed to be roughly equivalent to the US Ranger tab.  Only 300 of these were awarded to a (then classified) advanced commando unit.

The condition is mint. The attachments are simple clutch pins.

This order was established in 1852. This is the order generally bestowed for personal services to the state for civil or military service, and and could be awarded to foreigners and diplomats.

The condition is used, with some signs of routine wear. It is in overall very good condition. There is no ribbon present. The suspension loop is present.

The pieces measure 1-1/2 by 2-3/4 (green with blue border); 1-1/8 by 2-3/4 (red on black); 2-1/4 by 3 inches each for the two crescent moon and star insignia.

The shell jacket is identified by name and number to "4156 Wm. Fulton, Pte." inked on the quilted interior padding. There are a couple of other cryptic numbers as well. William Fulton was one of the last 14 survivors of the "Gallant 600" of the Charge of the Light Brigade as of October, 1913.  He is listed as being assigned to the 8th Hussars and was 22 years old at the time of the Charge.

There are also "Size 1" and "RP&CO", broad arrow, and "WD" maker marked, dated 1854 (the uniforms of many units in British Service changed that year).  This waist length jacket is a cream colored wool with bright scarlet trim at the throat and cuffs.  It has a lot of heavy gold bullion frogwork and treatments at the cuffs and back in wide gold bullion stripes. There are five rows of buttons, four of them decorative and one functional, shown in close-up here.  The decorative buttons are gilded dome buttons are 3/4 inches in diameter, the functional center row buttons are 1 inch in diameter.  Several have been replaced (long ago, 19th century field repair). Several buttons are missing, as shown.

There are minor field repairs, sweat stains and blood spatter on the inside and outside.

The condition is well used, with significant signs of combat wear. It is in overall very good condition

This shell jacket most closely resembles the tunic shown worn by Captain Thomas, Aide-de-Camp to General Bousquet, commanding the Light Brigade, shown in this Roger Felton photo taken in 1855 before the battle.  Note the shell jacket partially visible under the over coat in the portion of the photograph shown and the cream color with red trim.

The skirt measures 24 inches at the waist, approximately 34 at the hips, with a 25-1/2 inch drop. The tunic is 15 inches across the shoulders and has a 34 inch bust (underarm seam to seam) and it is darted. The sleeve is 21 inches from the point of the shoulder to the cuff. The maker tag is dated 1942 and IDed to the original owner. This is a view of the back of the tunic.

The condition is very good to near excellent, with a couple of very minor moth bites (less than 1/8 inch), as shown. It is dusty from age.

The sword was made by Wilkinson Sword of Sheffield England.  It is profusely marked with dozens of marks on the scabbard (top edge, throat front and rear), guard (inside, ricasso) and blade (right and spine), and grip.

It measures 44-1/2 inches overall in the scabbard. The sword measures 43 inches overall, with a 35 inch blade.  These are overall views of the sword right and left.

This document reads: "Woolrich 22 June 1784 / I do hereby Certify that Gunner John Hart received a Hurt in both his legs by a Grape Shot Box falling on him when Employed in the Storehouse at St. Lucia, while under my Command /s/ John Williamson/ Lieut Col of Artillery"  Colonel Williamson is listed as the commander Coy 1 Bn ("Hinds Company"), from January 1770 to 1779, at Woolrich and St. Lucia.  He commanded the 2nd Heavy Royal Artillery against the Colonies during the American Revolution at Philadelphia and New York in 1776 and 1777.  A record of his command is here.

This bronze medallion has honors from the Napoleonic Wars in the early 1800s to the Boer War campaigns in South Africa in 1902, and the Defense and Relief of Lady Smith.  No WWI honors are present, and it has the King's Crown surmount, dating the medal to prior to its engagements in WWI.

The condition is near mint, including the ribbon.

It is inscribed on the rim with 129057 PTE F.E. SKINNER and M.G.C. (Machine Gun Corps). This unit was absorbed into the Armour Corps before the end of the war.

It has a great high relief badge with W. SCULLY LTD MONTREAL raised maker marks on the back. The cap is a marked size 7.

The Lorne Scots are still active.  They have a history pre-dating the Boer War. During WWII, they saw combat in France during the Dieppe Raid, North Africa, and Sicily.  Members of the Regiment were in virtually every theater of the war, excepting Hong Kong.

The condition is used, still near excellent, including the ribbon.

It measures 1-1/2 inches across by 4 inches.

It has a great high relief badge with J. R. GAUNT MONTREAL raised maker marks on the back. It has a red felt background and black feathers attached, as shown on the back.  The original cotter pin is missing, there is a field expedient bobby pin in its place.

The condition is used, still near excellent, including the pad and feathers.

It measures 2-1/2 inches across by 8 inches.

This is a complete uniform which includes the Soviet Identification card, leather dispatch case, leather coat, leather helmet, Goggles, Leather belt and gun holder, blue piped riding breeches, poplin shirt, tie and photograph showing the original owner wearing the items.  The only item shown in the photo not included are the boots, which are standard issue and shouldn't be too difficult to locate.

The front of the ID has the embossed NKVD branch identification, the other side has his photo, name and branch assignment.  This is the caption on the back of the group photo, identifying the unit and 1943 date.

This is a close-up of the front of the 30-inch waist 23 inch (28 including extensions) inseam of the breeches and a view of the back side.

This is the 46 inch long belt and holster, front and back views.

This is the back of the leather coat and the maker tag inside the interior pocket. It measures 22 inches across the chest, 18 inch shoulders, and 19 inch arm inseam.

The condition is used, with some signs of routine wear to the leather items of the uniform.

This is a near mint condition example of this nicely made dagger.  It is marked on both sides of the ricasso.  One side has the 1954 date and maker mark, the other side has a serial number.  This is an overall view of the back.

The condition is very occasionally used, with some signs of routine wear to the leather portion of the matching scabbard.  The dagger and scabbard have navy themed elements.

It measures 13-1/2 inches in the scabbard, the dagger measuring 12-3/8 inches with a 8-3/8 blade.
