German Third Reich Pins and Service Badges

The 1. Garde-Ulanen Regiment was initially billeted in Potsdam in 1875. This pin is dated 1930.

It is a white metal rope frame on a three-color silk woven depiction of a horse-mounted cavalry lancer. There are "KUKEMAL" Ges. Gesch patent marks, with a KRUSE & SÖHNE BARMEN maker marks on the back. It measures 1-3/8 by 1-3/4 inches

This event was held at Bodenlietstelle in Berlin in 1938. It has the Reichsflugweltbewerb 1938 legend at the top.

This event was scheduled for 1939, however, the organization was in a temporary hiatus starting in 1938 due to the war. The organization resumed activities after the war, restarting in 1946.

The condition is near excellent, with some minor tarnish to the gilt on the face  It is not as noticeable as it appears in the photo, as the flash caught some darkness. This is a very well made heavy pin.

This dates to the reunification era of Alsace-Lorraine-Saarland (Elsass-Lothringen) at the beginning of WWII.

It is silver colored alloy with red white and black enamel and no lettering. There are GES. GESCH. maker marks on the back. It is slightly vaulted with a soldered spring pin attachment.

The condition is excellent to near mint.

Both are brass with red white and black enamel and no lettering. There are no maker marks on the back of the badge. It is slightly vaulted with a loop attachment (intended for sewing). This is the back of stickpin.

The condition is near very good with some slight wear to enamel overall.

It is white alloy with red white and black enamel and silver lettering. This one has raised Asterisk "SO" in a diamond lozenge Asterisk maker marks and GES. GESCH. It is flat.  It has an applied spring pin.
